    The top of this Disa porrecta inflorescence shows some colourful buds still to open in the elongating spike. Tall spurs rise over them, emerging from the backs of median sepals of open flowers lower down. The spurs are mostly curved here (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Liltved and Johnson, 2012; Gledhill, 1981; iNaturalist).
