Trichodiadema mirabile is a dwarf leaf succulent growing short branches, more spreading than erect to about 11 cm in height.

The species distribution range is in the Western Cape from Laingsburg to around Uniondale in the eastern Little Karoo.

The habitat is mostly south-facing slopes among karoid scrub. The species is not considered to be threatened in its habitat early in the twenty first century (Smith, et al, 1998; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; Wikipedia; iNaturalist; http://redlist.sanbi.org.za).
