    Lapeirousia oreogena leaves

    Lapeirousia oreogena leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

The pale green leaves of Lapeirousia oreogena in picture are not only sword-shaped and ribbed as they are usually described, but also strongly undulating or crisped along their margins.

The leaves are channelled, their margins turned up. The midrib is white in the channel (Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; iNaturalist).
