    Pachypodium lealii tall and majestic

    Pachypodium lealii tall and majestic
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

Tall here and not bulging too much, Pachypodium lealii has weathered the years on its elevated, rocky slope with a view fit for a king’s contemplation. The kind of king that fills his heart with weighty matters like the import of the world, before inflicting his will on subjects too far away to see or understand.

The emptiness that creeps into the mind when gazing from a mountaintop is the substance stirring (or causing) spiritual sensation. Lonely prison cells and deserts also serve in this way; an all and nothing result that cleanses or strengthens resolve.
