    Lapeirousia arenicola flower

    Lapeirousia arenicola flower
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

Lapeirousia arenicola grows a few cream-coloured to pale pink flowers on a branched stem.

The flowers are laterally symmetrical or two-lipped. The lower three tepals have one or two red spots near the base. The stamens and style are arched together under the upper tepal that tends to fold in near its tip (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
