    Ferraria macrochlamys subsp. macrochlamys leaves

    Ferraria macrochlamys subsp. macrochlamys leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

The erect leaves of Ferraria macrochlamys subsp. macrochlamys are oblong to sickle-shaped; the abrupt tapering to pointed tips sometimes veering to one side as in the photo.

The dull grey-green to blue-green leaf surfaces are conspicuously longitudinally lined. Some leaf margins are crisped (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
