    Nemesia ligulata many-flowered

    Nemesia ligulata many-flowered
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

A profusion of Nemesia ligulata flowers may bring festivity to these annuals branching from the base. The flowers grow long-stalked in loose racemes. The photo was taken in August.

The Maskam Mountain south of Vanrhynsdorp at the southern end of Namaqualand is in the background (Manning, 2009; Le Roux, et al, 2005).
