    Dimorphotheca sinuata leaves

    Dimorphotheca sinuata leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

Some leaf margins at this Dimorphotheca sinuata stem-tip have longer hairs than others, or those on the blade surfaces. Hairiness on the reddish stems is even finer and shorter.

The leaves taper at the base to a narrow part, hardly a petiole or revise the concept of petiole. Difficult to see whether any margin here manages a third tooth between tip and base (Manning, 2009; Eliovson, 1990; iNaturalist).
