    Foveolina dichotoma searching green fingers

    Foveolina dichotoma searching green fingers
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The soft, rounded and elongated lobes of Foveolina dichotoma leaves are a dull pale green. The stalked leaves curve down to their tips, the lobes folded in and erect from the midrib or rachis.

The leaves are unevenly covered in long white hairs; mostly sparsely, occasionally densely. The olive to brown, soft stems are also hairy, the whitish hairs of variable length (Le Roux, et al, 2005).
