    Salvia disermas leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

These Salvia disermas leaves are yellowish green to pale green and minutely quilted on the rough upper surfaces. The midrib is sunken or lacking the quilting protrusions. There are a few in-curving, ascending lateral veins upon the blades.

The narrowly lanceolate leaf has a rounded tip and lobed base, square upon the hairy stalk. The margins are bluntly, unevenly toothed (Manning, 2009; iNaturalist).
