    Lobostemon glaucophyllus bush in flower
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

In full bloom Lobostemon glaucophyllus has a profusion of blue, sometimes pink flowers at and immediately above the foliage. There is ample food on offer for pollinators welcomed in large numbers.

Flowering happens from midwinter to midspring (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
