    Indigofera amoena raceme

    Indigofera amoena raceme
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

An Indigofera amoena inflorescence is a raceme borne on a long peduncle, twice as long as a leaf petiole. The flower pedicels are short, the flowers usually densely clustered in the many-flowered inflorescence.

The photo was taken in August near Piketberg (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
