    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The flowerhead of Cotula turbinata has a scanty ring of short, ovate ray florets around a bulging disc, yellow in its centre. The flowerhead of this plant is sometimes completely yellow, including the rays. The flowerhead becomes about 1 cm in diameter.

Flowering happens from winter to early summer. The photo was taken in August (Manning, 007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; Wikipedia; http://pza.sanbi.org).
