    Arctotis acaulis leaves

    Arctotis acaulis leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

These Arctotis acaulis leaves are spoon-shaped with angularly toothed lobes.

The fleshy green blades are sparsely hairy. The spreading, cream veins converge into a sturdy midrib becoming the thick stalk below the blade lobes (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
