    Trachyandra bulbinifolia flowers

    Trachyandra bulbinifolia flowers
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The inflorescence of Trachyandra bulbinifolia is a laxly branched panicle, the flowers well-spaced on the racemes.

Pointed, papery bracts subtend each flower pedicel. The pedicels become almost as long as the flower perianths.

Flowering happens from midwinter to midspring (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
