    Ecbolium glabratum

    Ecbolium glabratum
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Ivan Lätti

Ecbolium glabratum flowers proudly display their spreading corolla lobes, the upper lip narrow and erect, the lower one three-lobed and spreading. They are less forthcoming with their calyces, the long flower tube base disappearing among the leaves where modesty conceals the five hairy, green sepals.

There are more photos and information about E. glabratum in the Shrubs Album elsewhere on this Site (Pooley, 1998; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iSpot).
