Trachyandra species, broad flat shiny leaves

Five broad leaves lie flat on the ground around the thick scape of this Trachyandra aiming to flower abundantly soon. The panicle already has strong dark green branches, but the inflorescence at this stage comprises more bract than bud, densely together in clusters. The photo was taken near the end of August, the imminent flowering promises a sight come September.
