    Aloe arborescens as cliffhanger

    Aloe arborescens as cliffhanger
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

Grassy cliffs are just one of the natural homes of Aloe arborescens. Called tree-like (arborescens) is no cause for this plant to shun steep places or to fail there.

The tall, erect inflorescence candles add good colour on sunny winter days. The photo was taken at the beginning of July near Genadendal.
