Schizochilus cecilii subsp. transvaalensis leaves

The largest leaves of Schizochilus cecilii subsp. transvaalensis are clustered on the lower stem part, growing semi-erect and sheathing the stem. Five to fifteen leaves are usually borne, smaller ones spaced up the stem to the inflorescence and grading into the bracts.
