    Pale cone-shaped buds are still to open at the top of this Eulophia longisepala flower spike. Up to 10 flowers are borne in the sparse inflorescence. Tiny, pointed bracts are present on the stem at the base of every ovary.

    The brownish spur curves down below the back of the lip, about 3 mm long. It is conical here, but may also be cylindrical (Pooley, 1998; www.zimbabweflora.co.zw).
