    Author: Ivan Lätti

Delosperma prasinum is a mat-forming succulent that produces many creeping branches to about 15 cm in height.

The species, a South African endemic, grows in the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape. It is not considered to be threatened in its habitat early in the twenty first century (Smith, et al, 1998; www.redlist.sanbi.org).
