    Brachycorythis tenuior buds as well

    Brachycorythis tenuior buds as well
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

This Brachycorythis tenuior inflorescence still has some green, unopened buds at its top. The upper buds are still short behind their protective bracts.

The dull yellow-green bud surfaces discourage any premature pollinator visits while the merchandise is still unready... saving time for your service providers is an advisable business practice.

Lower down it is, of course, a different story at this time (Lowrey and Wright, 1987; www.zimbabweflora.co.zw).
