    Crassula peploides flowers

    Crassula peploides flowers
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

The flower of Crassula peploides has five creamy white, spreading petal appendages, contrasting with the central pink of the five carpels. Between these two rings the five stamens with creamy anthers can be recognised, floral parts occurring in fives. Greenish grey, fleshy sepals with rounded tips, shorter than the white of the petals, are present in the gaps between the petals.

Flowering happens in summer and autumn (Smith, et al, 2017; iNaturalist; iSpot).
