These very white Cotyledon orbiculata leaves were photographed around noon on a bright day in December in the Botanical Garden of Melbourne, Australia.

    C. orbiculata var. orbiculata is known sometimes to have undulations of the leaf-tips. The curves on the leaf margins seen here are, however, bigger than commonly expected. The marginal red rim is visible through the powdery white bloom covering the leaves. Whether this is a form also found in nature somewhere in South Africa, is not known.
