Helichrysum dasyanthum presenting several shades of yellow

The flat-topped inflorescences of Helichrysum dasyanthum each consists of many small yellow flowerheads. They grow on erect stalks, well above the foliage of the rounded, spreading shrub. Full sun in the summer season makes the pale grey plant look even paler, apart from the bright yellow of the flowerhead clusters. The photo was taken in March on Table Mountain, the plant fully exposed (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org).
