The simple, ascending leaves of Polygala rhinostigma are oblong, elliptic or obovate. They end in pointed or rounded tips, sometimes curving out and appearing notched. The green or dark green blades are faintly hairy, the margins entire and hairier. The pale midribs are often visible. The petioles are short to very short (iNaturalist; https://www.botanicalrealm.com).
