    Asparagus capensis flowers

    Asparagus capensis flowers
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: MC Botha

Numerous, small Asparagus capensis flowers spread their white tepals around the globose green ovaries in the flower centres. Some have yellow anthers on the angled-out filaments. Other anthers are inconspicuous or dropped off, their pollen deliveries done.

The photo was taken near Grotto Beach in Hermanus (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
