    Brunia noduliflora flowering white

    Brunia noduliflora flowering white
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: MC Botha

The Brunia noduliflora flowerheads may be as white as in the photo taken near Hermanus. The far protruding stamens are very thin, not always quite straight. The about globular anthers tipping them appear pale yellowish.

The densely overlapping leaves with in-curved tips cause the erect stems to appear thin. The white-tipped stem-tips reach slightly below to around the inflorescence (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
