    Aloe humilis in flower

    Aloe humilis in flower
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Louis Jordaan

Aloe humilis leaf rosettes multiplied via offshoots here, forming a productive and spreading, dense clump.

The simple and single inflorescences risen from the rosettes reach similar heights, about 30 cm. Several concurrently open flowers from each result in a festive presentation.

Many stones cover the ground not occupied by plants (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Van Wyk and Smith, 2003; Reynolds, 1974; Jeppe, 1969; iNaturalist).
