    Brunsvigia bosmaniae umbel pale pink

    Brunsvigia bosmaniae umbel pale pink
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Hendrik van Zijl

This pale pink umbel of Brunsvigia bosmaniae flowers has dark lines up the perianth segments, both inside and outside. The ovaries and pedicels behind the corollas are brownish to purple, the perianth base also dark coloured on the outside.

The styles are further exserted than the stamens and straighter, the filaments curving up near their tips, presenting small, white, ripe anthers (Duncan, et al, 2016; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
