    Hermannia amabilis

    Hermannia amabilis is an erect subshrub reaching about 75 cm in height.

    This is not a South African species. As far as is known it only grows in Namibia. The photo was taken in the north of Namibia.

    The habitat is primarily desert or dry shrubland (Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist; https://powo.science.kew.org; https://commons.wikimedia.org; http://www.malvaceae.info).
