    Erica urna-viridis leaves

    Erica urna-viridis leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

Erica urna-viridis has leafless lower branches, the leaves are densely massed near the stem-tips only.

The small, narrow leaves ascend in four or five neat vertical arrays on the upper branchlets. The deep green to bright green, hairless leaves are needle-like to slightly ovate and keeled, from 4 mm to 7 mm long (Manning and Helme, 2024; Baker and Oliver, 1967; iNaturalist).
