    Crassula obtusa leaves

    Crassula obtusa leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

The opposite leaves of Crassula obtusa grow dense near stem-tips, perpendicular to previous and following pairs in decussate manner.

The narrow, fleshy blades are oblong to obovate with margins entire and hairy. The acutely pointed leaves are up to 15 mm long and 5 mm wide.

Leaves, stems and sepals may be dull green or dark red, depending on prevailing conditions (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; Bean and Johns, 2005; iNaturalist).
