    The obovoid fruit of Anginon difforme growing in umbels of umbels are displayed at stem-tips, here during May at Nature’s Valley.

    There are between 8 and 12 resin ducts along each fruit’s length. Difforme means irregularly, unevenly or differently formed (Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Coates Palgrave, 2002; iNaturalist; http://worldfloraonline.org).
