Euryops tenuissimus leaves and flowerheads

The needle-like leaves of Euryops tenuissimus are fleshy, clustered near branch tips. Low down the branched stems are bare. The leaves may be simple or three-lobed, becoming from 1,5 cm to 15 cm long.

There are two subspecies, viz. subsp. tenuissimus with less leaf branching and subsp. trifurcatus with more three-lobed, fewer simple leaves (Manning, 2007; www.plantzafrica.com).
