    Oxalis caprina leaves

    Oxalis caprina leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The leaves of Oxalis caprina are usually all basal. They grow on erect, hairy petioles that are channelled.

The leaves are trifoliolate, each leaflet deeply bilobed in an exaggerated heart-shape and folded in the centre (Privett and Lutzeyer, 2010; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
