    Gloveria integrifolia skew fruit

    Gloveria integrifolia skew fruit
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The fruit capsule of Gloveria integrifolia is here very inconspicuously three-lobed and pink-purplish. Its shape is asymmetric, obliquely broad-based rather than obconic.

A short, blackish style is persistent on the fruit tip, a by now retracted calyx at the base (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Coates Palgrave, 2002; iNaturalist).
