    Pelargonium hispidum leaves

    Pelargonium hispidum leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

Pelargonium hispidum leaf lobes vary much in shape and size. The basal lobes sometimes form a neat V, here expansively lush and even overlapping.

Pale, yellow-green colouring is mainly found near the leaf margins, also visible where the lower surfaces show themselves. Some waviness or only marginal elevations are present on the leaves in the photo, as is a faint, velvety hair covering, an indumentum (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
