Osteospermum imbricatum flowerheads

The hairy-stalked flowerheads of Osteospermum imbricatum grow solitary or in small clusters on erect stems. One dense whorl of elliptic, yellow ray florets spread around a compact, many-flowered disc that starts off greenish. Flowering happens from spring to autumn (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
