    Tetragonia reduplicata leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The short-stalked leaves of Tetragonia reduplicata are alternate and simple, ascending well-spaced up the reddish, ridged stems.

The leaf-shape is narrowly ovate and tapering to bluntly pointed or slightly rounded tips, also tapering at the base. The fleshy blades are blue-green and smooth. The midrib is prominent on the lower surface in the lower leaf part (iNaturalist).
