Moraea inconspicua leaf out of place

Moraea inconspicua leaf out of place
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

Moraea inconspicua grows two or three trailing or coiling leaves. The long, linear leaves are from 3 mm to 5 mm wide and channelled.

One leaf emerges at the base, the others from lower stem nodes. In picture one of the glossy leaves leans upon the flower (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; Moriarty, 1997; iNaturalist).
