    Crassula dichotoma, the other colour

    Crassula dichotoma, the other colour
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The orange-brown Crassula dichotoma flower is a second form beside the yellow-flowering one. There is no reddish ring around the corolla mouth in the case of this flower colour. Slight, longitudinal undulations are visible on the petal lobes that often curve back slightly.

The corolla tube is pale yellow inside. So are all stamen and style parts exserted in the centre (Frandsen, 2017; Smith, et al, 2017; Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; iNaturalist).
