    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The flowers of Albuca longipes grow facing up in a flat-topped raceme. The six thickish tepals are white with green keels. The hooded inner tepals have golden yellow tips. Flower diameter is 2 cm to 3 cm.

Flowering happens in spring. The photo was taken in September (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
