    Selago canescens leaves

    Selago canescens leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The leaves of Selago canescens grow alternate or in dense fascicles on the erect, hairy stems; some on side-shoots. Leaf-shape is narrowly lanceolate, oblong or needle-like. The texture of the glossy green leaves is soft and faintly hairy (Privett and Lutzeyer, 2010; iNaturalist; http://pza.sanbi.org).
