    Helichrysum teretifolium
    Author: Ivan Lätti

Helichrysum teretifolium is a small, much branched, felted shrublet of 30 cm to 50 cm in height.

The species distribution occurs in a coastal belt from the Cape Peninsula through the Western Cape to the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.

The habitat is diverse over the large distribution, ranging from sandy flats, dunes and mountain slopes. The vegetation here includes Albany thicket, fynbos and grassland. The species is not considered threatened in habitat early in the twenty first century (Manning, 2007; iNaturalist; iSpot; http://redlist.sanbi.org).
