    The yellow flowerheads of Foveolina dichotoma are borne solitary on long, wiry, brownish peduncles that are faintly hairy and leafless.

    Each dome-shaped to hemispherical flowerhead consists of a multitude of tiny disc florets, densely packed. There is usually a tiny depression in the centre among the buds in the flowerhead. Flowerhead diameter is about 6 mm.

    Flowering happens at the end of winter and the beginning of spring. The photo was taken in August in Goegap. The small pale fruits are three-ribbed on one side and glandular (Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
