Pelargonium citronellum flowers

The flowers of Pelargonium citronellum show their two different petal shapes with dark markings on the upper, bigger ones. The far-protruding pink styles end in three stigma branches pointing outwards. The stamens are indistinct at this stage of flowering. There is sometimes a little more pink colouring to the petals than on this whitish flowering plant.

The leaf texture is rough, enhanced by the sunken veins on the upper surfaces. There is angularity in the toothed and lobed leaf margins (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
