This good stand of Lobelia pinifolia in flower was seen on Hoys Koppie in Hermanus in late September.
Some sources place the genus of Lobelia in a family Lobeliaceae instead of Campanulaceae, although this seems to have fallen out of favour (Riley, 1963; www.plantzafrica.com).
