    Crassula coccinea bearing pink flowers

    Crassula coccinea bearing pink flowers
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

This pink-flowered version of Crassula coccinea was found cohabiting with an Erica on Table Mountain in March.

The long flower tubes are erect and yellow. There is yellowing of leaves and brown on older stem and leaf parts lower down on the plant. Anther protrusion is uneven from these corollas, while the petals recurve about uniformly, more than young petals will do.
