Breaks in the canopy of taller bushes allow the knee-high Gladiolus carmineus flowers to take part in celebrating better weather moments at Hermanus.
The farmers over the brow of the hill often do not yearn for the same weather that the townspeople prefer. People and animals must all eat, so weather conditions should not remain the same at all times. And so say all the plants!
